Over $10 million worth of electronic parts stolen in Sheung

    Police are investigating a burglary in Sheung Shui this (October 27) morning in which over $10 million worth of electronic parts were stolen.

     The case came to light at about 9.30 am when a 27-year-old female staff of an electronic company returned to her office on No. 188 San Wan Road and found the iron grille prized open with signs of ransacking in the office. A window of the toilet in the office was also found damaged.

     Initial investigations revealed that 42 boxes of integrated circuit chips of mobile phones worth about $11.7 million were missing.

     Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tai Po are proceeding.

     Police appeal to members of the public who has information on the case to contact the investigating officers on 2660 3278.
