Police today (October 27) appealed for information on a traffic accident in which a 72-year-old woman was injured in Sham Shui Po on October 18 and died on October 26.
At about 5 pm on October 18, a bus driven by a 40-year-old man was travelling along southbound Nam Cheong Street. Upon reaching near Woh Chai Street, it reportedly knocked down the 72-year-old woman who walked across the road.
Sustaining serious injuries, the woman was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was certified dead at 9.05 pm on October 26.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
