Statistical Digest of the Services Sector Published

The second quarter 2005 issue of the Quarterly Supplement to Statistical Digest of the Services Sector is published by the Census and Statistics Department today (October 24).
2. This issue of the Quarterly Supplement provides some up-to-date quarterly statistics (from the first quarter of 2004 to the second quarter of 2005) on the 14 major service industries/domains of Hong Kong presented in the Statistical Digest of the Services Sector.
3. Besides, two feature articles are also included in this issue. The article entitled "The Insurance Industry of Hong Kong" depicts the structure and performance of the insurance industry in Hong Kong during 2000 to 2003 as well as its recent trend and development. Another article entitled "Film Entertainment Industry" describes the performance of the film entertainment industry from 2000 to mid-2005.
4. This publication is now on sale at HK$36 per issue. Both print version and download version of the publication can be purchased online at the "Statistical Bookstore, Hong Kong" (http://www.statisticalbookstore.gov.hk). Download version of the publication can be purchased at 75% of its original price exclusively at the online Statistical Bookstore.
