Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident
************************************************ Police today (October 24) appeal to members of the public for information on a traffic accident in which a 29-year-old woman was killed in Pat Heung earlier this month.
At about 6.15 pm on October 16, a private car driven by a 31-year-old man was travelling along Kam Tin Road towards Tai Po. When reaching near Sheung Tsuen, it reportedly knocked down the 29-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was sent to North District Hospital where she was certified dead at 3.10 pm on October 19.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
Anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2677 6299 or 2455 4210.
