Man charged with murder
*********************** Police today (October 18) charged a 39-year-old man with one count of murder.
The man together with two other men aged 31 and 33 were arrested in connection with a murder case in which a 40-year-old woman was attacked on Tai Po Road in Sham Shui Po on September 22, 1999 and later died in hospital.
The 31-year-old man and the 33-year-old man were arrested in Tin Shui Wai and Mong Kok on October 15 and charged yesterday (October 17) with murder.
The 39-year-old man was arrested in Tsuen Wan yesterday. He will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (October 19).
