Appeal for information on two missing persons (with photos)

    Police today (October 16) appealed to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of two missing persons.

     The missing girl Lau Yee-man, aged 17, was found missing after she left her home on Yik Kwan Avenue, Causeway Bay on the morning of September 24 this year and failed to returned home since then.  Her father made a report to the Police later.

     Standing about 1.63 metres and weighing about 48 kilograms, she is of medium build with yellow complexion, round face and long black hair.

     Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing woman to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Person Unit, Hong Kong Island on 2860 1045 or any police station.

     Another missing person is a 57-year-old man, Yu Lap-mun, who left the hostel in Pak Fung House, Choi Wan Estate on the morning of August 29 this year and failed to return the hostel since then.  The care worker of the hostel made a report to the Police later.

     Standing about 1.73 metres, he is of thin build with yellow complexion, pointed face and straight short white hair in black.  He was wearing a polo T-shirt in blue and white colour when missing.  He likes to wander in Wan Chai and North Point.

     Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing persons to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Person Unit, Kowloon East on 2703 2425 or any police station.
