
Poll cards posted to King Tin voters
************************************ Poll cards for the Kwun Tong District Council King Tin Constituency by-election to be held on Sunday, October 23, have been posted to registered electors in the constituency.
"Those who have not yet received their poll cards can make enquiries to the Election Hotline on 2891 1001," a spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office said today (October 14).
Some 7,800 electors of the constituency should have also got an appeal letter from the Returning Officer, a map of their designated polling station, a guide to voting, an ICAC leaflet on clean elections and an abridged version of candidates' introductory leaflet.
A full version of candidates' introductory leaflet, with more details on their election platforms and personal particulars, can be viewed at www.gov.hk/reo. Copies of the leaflet are also available for collection at the Kwun Tong District Office by electors when required.
Particulars of the candidates as shown in their introductory leaflet, in the order of candidate number, name, occupation and political affiliation, are as follows:

Two polling stations - one at FDBWA Szeto Ho Secondary School, 7 Kai Tin Road, Lam Tin, and the other at Lam Tin (West) Estate Community Centre, 71 Kai Tin Road, Lam Tin will be open from 7.30am to 10.30pm on October 23 for electors to cast their votes.
The two polling stations will also be used as counting stations after the poll is closed. FDBWA Szeto Ho Secondary School has been designated as the dominant counting station, where the results of the by-election will be announced.
The successful candidate will fill a vacant seat in the Kwun Tong District Council.
