Exhibition of old photos gives a glimpse of Beijing's past (with photos)

This picture was taken by Yu Xunling, the imperial photographer in 1903 during the reign of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty at Leshou Hall of the Summer Palace. In the picture, Cixi was nearly in her seventies but still looked graceful. On the screen at the back is a banner in honour of Cixi.
