Homicide and suicide case in Tuen Mun
************************************* Police are investigating a homicide and suicide case in which a man was killed and a woman was found dead in Tuen Mun this (October 3) morning.
At about 8.20 am, Police received a report from a nearby resident that a woman was seen standing at the edge of a window at a residential unit in No.1 Tuen Lung Street, Tuen Mun.
Police officers arrived at scene and found a woman lying unconscious on the podium of the building. It was believed that the woman had jumped down from the unit shortly before Police arrived. She was rushed to Tuen Mun hospital where she was certified dead at 9.04 am.
Subsequently, Police officers went up to the residential unit for enquiries and found a man lying on the ground of the bedroom inside the unit. He was later certified dead by ambulancemen at scene. Initial examination found stab wounds on his neck and chest.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the causes of death of the 28-year-old man and the 33-year-old woman.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun are proceeding.
