Police today (October 2) located the parents of the wandering boy found in a park outside Fuk Yat House of Yat Tung Estate yesterday (October 1).
The couple, a 42-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, lost sight of their three-year-old son while they were shopping in Kweilin Street, Sham Shui Po yesterday afternoon.
The duo had tried to find their son but in vain. The man subsequently made a report to Sham Shui Po Police Station this afternoon.
After enquiries, Police found the description of his son matched the boy found wandering in Tung Chung yesterday. The identity of the boy was later confirmed.
No suspicious circumstances were found in the case and the boy would be handed over to his parents.
