Police are investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman whose body was found inside a flat in Tsuen Wan this (September 29) evening.
The female deceased and her 37-year-old ex-husband were last seen at a dinner with a 66-year-old female relative of the deceased on September 15. The female relative received a phone call from the deceasedˇ¦s ex-husband in the afternoon of September 20 but failed to contact them since then. She then filed a missing report to Lei Muk Shue Police Station later on September 23.
At about 6 pm today, investigating officers of Regional Missing Persons Unit, New Territories South, accompanied the female relative to the deceasedˇ¦s flat in a building on Shek Yam Road.
They entered the flat by climbing through the window and the body of the woman was found lying on a bed inside the bedroom.
Abrasion was found on the deceasedˇ¦s neck. Initial examination revealed that the deceased had died about one to two weeks. Initial enquiries suggested that there are suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
The post mortem of the deceased will be conducted later tomorrow morning to ascertain the cause of her death.
Investigations by District Crime Squad of Tsuen Wan are proceeding.
