From tomorrow (September 23) to January 8, 2006, the exhibition, "Chinese Paintings from the CP Lin Collection", to be held at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, will offer visitors the chance to review the mainstream development of Chinese painting from the mid-19th century to the late 20th century, as represented by groups of artists who made use of China's long pictorial heritage to revitalise and reform Chinese painting in an era of radical change. Pictured is one of the exhibits, "Reaping What We Sowed" by Feng Zikai. By giving his painting a title from a Buddhist story, Feng that there are lessons to be learnt from everyday life.
