Fresh-water main between Sham Tseng and So Kwun Tan
*************************************************** The Government intends to install a fresh-water main in the foreshore and seabed at So Kwun Tan Nullah, Tuen Mun to link up the water supply systems in Sham Tseng and Tuen Mun and transfer water between Sham Tseng and Tuen Mun East when needed.
The work, which will affect about 839 square metres of foreshore and seabed, is scheduled to begin in early 2007 for completion around mid-2010.
A notice describing the extent of the area affected is gazetted today (September 16).
The notice together with a related plan can be seen on notice boards posted near the site. The plan can also be inspected at the Lands Department Survey and Mapping Office, 23/F North Point Government Offices and at the Tuen Mun District Office, 2/F Tuen Mun Government Offices, 1 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun.
Anyone who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and seabed involved may send a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road on or before November 16, 2005.
