Closure order lifted for Tsim Sha Tsui food premises
**************************************************** The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department today (September 15) lifted the closure order imposed earlier on a restaurant at Park Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui.
"The food premises was closed on August 24, following reports of a cluster of food poisoning cases. It has taken remedial measures after the closure, including thorough cleaning and disinfection of the premises and improvements in workflow procedures," a department spokesman said.
"During our latest inspection of the food premises, we were satisfied that the immediate health hazards on the premises had been eliminated.
"We have also reminded its operators and staff members to observe good personal, environmental and food hygiene at all times.
"The Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene has therefore decided to rescind the closure order and allow the food premises to resume operation with immediate effect."
