
Vice-President Zeng arrives for three-day visit (with

****************************************************** Vice-President Zeng Qinghong arrived in Hong Kong this afternoon (September 10) for a three-day visit.
On arrival at the Lok Ma Chau boundary control point, the Vice-President was met by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Chief Executive Mr Donald Tsang, Chief Secretary for Administration Mr Rafael Hui, Financial Secretary Mr Henry Tang and Secretary for Justice Ms Elsie Leung.
Vice-President Zeng had a broad smile when he accepted a bouquet of flowers from two children. He spoke to the media before being driven to the Harbour Plaza Hotel.
This is Vice-President Zeng's first visit in his current post. He attended the reunification ceremony in 1997 and celebrations of the first anniversary of Hong Kong's reunification with the Mainland in 1998.
Soon after arriving at the hotel, Vice-President Zeng met Mr Tsang. Also attending were Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, Mr Liao Hui, and Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Mr Gao Siren.
Later in the evening, Vice-President Zeng attended a dinner hosted by Mr Donald Tsang at Victoria House.
He will officiate at the opening of the Hong Kong Disneyland on September 12.
