Fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong
*********************************** Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 92-year-old woman was killed in Kwun Tong today (September 9).
Shortly after 11.45 am, a light goods vehicle was traveling along southbound Shui Wo Street. After turning right to Shui Ning Street, it reportedly knocked down the 92-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was sent to United Christian Hospital where she was certified dead at 12.21 pm.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
Police appeal to anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2305 7500 or 2305 7575.
