
SJ to attend Law Congress in Beijing and Shanghai
************************************************* The Secretary for Justice, Ms Elsie Leung, will lead a Department of Justice (DoJ) delegation to attend the 22nd Congress on the Law of the World in Beijing and Shanghai starting from Sunday (September 4).
The Congress is jointly organised by the World Jurist Association and the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China.
Ms Leung will attend the Congress in Beijing on September 4 and 5. She will also deliver a speech at a legal seminar on September 4.
She will attend the second leg of the Congress in Shanghai on September 8.
The other members of the DoJ delegation are Law Draftsman, Mr Tony Yen; Deputy Solicitor General, Mr Stephen Wong, and Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Arthur Luk.
