Man charged with trafficking in dangerous drugs
*********************************************** Police charged a 46-year-old man with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs today (August 29).
At about 12.30pm, officers of Nacrotics Bureau intercepted the man who was leaving a flat on Poplar Street, Sham Shui Po. A nylon bag containing about 5.26 kilograms of suspected ketamine which was packed inside a tinfoil bag was found in his possession.
A subsequent search in the flat led to the seizure of some other tinfoil bags and some packing paraphernalia.
The haul could fetch over $1.7 million in the retail market.
He will appear in Kowloon City Magistracy tomorrow (August 30).
