
CE to attend victory anniversary commemorative activities in
Beijing
************************************************************ The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will leave for Beijing next Friday (September 2) to attend an event to be held the following day to commemorate the 60th anniversary of China's victory in the war of resistance against Japanese aggression and the victory of the world's war against fascism.
During his stay in Beijing, Mr Tsang will also attend other commemorative activities including a variety show and a reception in the evenings on September 2 and 3 respectively.
The Chief Executive will return to Hong Kong on September 4. While Mr Tsang is away from Hong Kong, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Rafael Hui, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
