Police today (April 12) arrested four men and recovered five stolen vehicles in an operation against a vehicle syndicate.
Following extensive investigations into information gathered, officers of the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) recovered three seven-seater vehicles and two private cars in a carpark on Tai Ching Street, Mong Kok.
The five vehicles, valued at about $1.3 million, were reported missing between February and April this year.
Police also seized five machetes in one of the stolen vehicles.
OCTB officers arrested four men, aged between 64 and 74, in connection with this case. They were arrested in Mong Kok, Ngau Tau Kok and Cheung Sha Wan this afternoon and are still being detained for enquiries.
The operation is still ongoing.
