Hong Kong Cyberport will host the inaugural Cyberport Digital Entertainment Consumer Extravaganza (DECE) from March 23 to 28, 2005, to showcase a wide range of high-end and high-tech digital entertainment consumer products.

Taking advantage of Cyberport's own high-speed fibre optics backbone, the show will highlight the next generation in high-end home audio and video electronics, particularly IP-based entertainment systems.

Through organisation of various digital entertainment events, Cyberport continues to serve as a platform for the Hong Kong digital entertainment industry. In March 2005, the annual Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum 2005 (DELF2005) jointly organised by the Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Cyberport will launch the digital entertainment week at Cyberport. As in the past, top-notch international digital entertainment speakers will share their experience and vision in digital entertainment, this time focusing on "Creative Collaboration in the Digital Entertainment Value Chain".

As a continuation of the DELF2005, DECE will be held from March 23 to 28,  2005, to demonstrate the latest digital entertaiment achievements of Hong Kong. DECE participants can experience the enhancement in everyday life as brought by latest digital entertainment technologies, and get a glimpse of award-winning and worldwide first releases from renowned brands. Participants can also see the one and only one Cyberport 360 degree surround vision film open to public for the first time. Pushing the show to the climax is the grand lucky draw. DECE participants will have the chance to win over $100,000 worth of high-end A/V electronic products and other prizes.

The extravaganza is open to the public free of charge. Details of the events are as follows:
