The following is issued on behalf of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education:

In view of public demand, the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE) has reprinted more copies of the 2005 Civic Education Desktop Calendar for distribution to the public free of charge.

The calendars are available at all Home Affairs Department Public Enquiry Service Centres and the Civic Education Resource Centre, 2/F Tung Sun Commercial Centre, 200 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai.

The calendar includes 12 winning photos of the "Brighten Up Hong Kong" Photo Contest organised by the CPCE earlier. The photos capture the true colour and beauty of our vivacious city.

An electronic version of the calendar can be downloaded from the CPCE homepage (http://www.cpce.gov.hk).

Members of the public are also invited to view the winning entries in a roving exhibition to be held by the CPCE from 11am to 6pm tomorrow (January 22) and Sunday (January 23) at Exhibition Gallery 2, Hong Kong Central Library, Causeway Bay.
