The Lands Department announced today (January 11) that New Kowloon Inland Lot No 6310 at the junction of Sheung Yuet Road and Wang Chiu Road, Kowloon Bay had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List system. The sale of this lot is scheduled for February 22, 2005.
A Lands Department spokesman said the Government had accepted the applicant's minimum guaranteed bid of $608 million for the lot. This will be the starting price for the sale of the lot at the auction.
New Kowloon Inland Lot No 6310 has a site area of 4,715 square metres and a minimum gross floor area of 33,948 square metres is required to be completed. This site is zoned "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Business" ("OU(B)") and is designated for non-residential (excluding petrol filling station, residential care home, offensive trades and dangerous goods) purpose.
The spokesman added that the lot was sold with a planning approval for hotel development. It will be offered for sale in the fourth government land auction this financial year which has been scheduled on February 22 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
The conditions of sale for the lot will be available for distribution and uploaded to the Lands Department's web site (http://www.info.gov.hk/landsd/) by February 4, 2005, when the particulars of the land auction will also be gazetted.
