The Secretary for Home Affairs, Dr Patrick Ho, has expressed his sorrow at the death of the Vice-chairman of the Heung Yee Kuk, Mr Pang Hang-yin.

Dr Ho, on behalf of colleagues in the Home Affairs Bureau and the Home Affairs Department, sent his deep condolences to the family and friends of Mr Pang.

Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Shelley Lee, said Mr Pang had made a huge contribution to community affairs and had been very supportive of the work of the Home Affairs Department throughout the years.

"He will be missed by all of us," she said.
