The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announces the following special opening hours for its museums during the Christmas and New Year holidays:

On Christmas Eve (December 24), Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Science Museum, Hong Kong Space Museum, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum and Law Uk Folk Museum will close at 5pm.

On Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26) and January 1, Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum, Law Uk Folk Museum, Sam Tung Uk Museum, Sheung Yiu Folk Museum and Hong Kong Railway Museum will be closed. The major museums - Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Science Museum, Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence - will be open as usual.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre will close at 5pm on Winter Solstice (December 22) and New Year's Eve (December 31).
