A recruitment forum will be held at the Labour Department's Sha Tin Job Centre tomorrow (December 12) for people interested in positions as driver trainees, station assistants/officers/supervisors or technical staff on the East Rail Extension.

Applications will be accepted on the spot for these Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation posts with monthly salaries ranging from $8,690 to $13,500.

Applicants for driver and station assistant/officer/supervisor posts must be Form Five graduates with five passes in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examinations and three years' relevant experience. Applicants for other technical posts should possess a Vocational Training Council Certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications with suitable experience.

The recruitment forum will be held at 2/F, Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin from 10am to 4pm.
