Police today (October 11) appealed to the victims of a fraud, which involved fraudulent land investment projects in Estonia to come forward and report to the Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB).
The appeal was made after CCB has received complaints to a land investment agent company, which claimed it could assist members of the public to invest in land investment in Estonia, East Europe.
CCB's investigation revealed that the said land investment is suspected fraudulent and the land investment projects did not exist.
CCB officers raided the land investment company in Central yesterday (October 10) and arrested a 34-year-old woman who was the person-in-charge of the company.
Police appeal to members of the public who might has been victimised or has information to provide to contact the CCB hotline at 2860 5012.
CCB investigation into the case is proceeding.
