The Town Planning Board announced today (October 10) that the Chief Executive in Council has referred the approved Ngong Ping Outline Zoning Plan (OZP) to the board for amendment.

Amendments to the approved OZP are mainly to reflect the modifications to the authorised road scheme for the Ngong Ping area and to incorporate the consequential amendments to the zonings of the area. The Notes of the Plan will also be revised to follow a revised set of Master Schedule of Notes to Statutory Plans endorsed recently by the board.

The Ngong Ping OZP was last approved by the Chief Executive in Council on April 1, 2003.

The plan incorporating the amendments will be exhibited for public inspection under the provisions of the Town Planning Ordinance.
