The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) announced today (September 13) that confirmation had been received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Burkina Faso that the Government of Burkina Faso has agreed to grant visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders for a stay up to 14 days with immediate effect.
"We welcome this confirmation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Burkina Faso," a Government spokesman said.
The availability of visa-free access to Burkina Faso has brought the total number of countries/territories agreeing to grant visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders to 126.
Currently, nationals of Burkina Faso may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay up to 14 days.
