Mr Stephen Chung assumed the post of Tuen Mun District Officer today (August 25), succeeding Mr Jacky Lum.

Mr Chung joined the Government in 1976. He has served in various Government posts, including the Financial Services Branch, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Geneva, the Works Bureau, the Housing Bureau and the Housing Department.

Mr Chung's last posting was an Assistant Director with the Housing Department.
