The Indigenous Inhabitant Representative elections (IIR) in the 2003 Village Representative Elections which began at 12 noon today (July 13) ended at 7 pm. A total of 2653 out of the 3674 registered voters had cast their votes, representing a turnout of 72.21 per cent. Turnout rates are set out according to the respective Rural Committees as follows:
