Police appeal to members of the public for information on a serious traffic accident occurred in Tuen Mun on July 5 in which a man was injured.

At about 5 pm, a man crossing Tuen Mun Road was reportedly knocked down by a private car travelling along the road towards Yuen Long near Tuen Mun Town Centre.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment.

The man, with no identity document found on him, is aged about 30 to 40, of thin build and with short grey hair. He was wearing only a pair of short apricot trousers during the incident.

Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.

Anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has any information on the identity of the injured person is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2677 6299.
