One more nomination for the by-election in the Lai Kok Constituency of the Sham Shui Po District Council was received by the Returning Officer today (June 28).

The nominee is Lai Wai Lan, Tracy, who is a social worker and politically affiliated with the Hong Kong Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood.

This has brought to two the total number of nominees since nomination began on June 20. The other nominee is Fan Kwok Fai, a social worker.

The two-week nomination period will run until July 3. The poll is scheduled for Sunday, August 3.
