Police appeal to members of the public for information on a serious traffic accident occurred in Yuen Long this morning (June 20) in which two men and a woman were injured.

At about 11.20 am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) was travelling along Yuen Long bound of Yuen Long Highway. When reaching near Long Tin Road, a tyre suddenly bounced from the Tuen Mun bound carriageway and reportedly hit the LGV.

The front windscreen and rear window of the LGV were smashed while the 55-year-old male driver, the 36-year-old front seat female passenger and the 24-year-old man sitting at the back were injured and sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for medical treatment.

Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
