Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Wan Chai on June 22 (Sunday) to facilitate the holding of Olympic Day Run 2003.

The following road closure and traffic diversions will be implemented between 8.30 am and 11 am:

(A) Road closure

1. Lung Wui Road between Tim Wa Avenue and Fenwick Pier;

2. Tim Mei Avenue;

3. Performing Arts Avenue;

4. Lung King Street;

5. Fenwick Pier Street and Fenwick Pier Street flyover;

6. A section of northbound Fenwick Street between Gloucester Road and Fenwick Pier Street;

7. A section of Convention Avenue between Fenwick Pier Street and Tonnochy Road;

8. A section of Hung Hing Road between Marsh Road and Tonnochy Road;

9. Expo Drive, Expo Drive Central and Expo Drive East; and

10. A section of Tonnochy Road between Harbour Road and Convention Avenue.

(B) Road diversions

1. Traffic along eastbound Lung Wui Road will be diverted to southbound Tim Wa Avenue;

2. Northbound traffic on Tim Wa Avenue will be diverted to westbound Lung Wui Road;

3. Traffic from eastbound Harcourt Road to Tim Mei Avenue will be banned;

4. Traffic from eastbound Harcourt Road to Performing Arts Avenue will be banned;

5. Traffic from eastbound Gloucester Road to Fenwick Street will be banned;

6. Traffic from westbound Harbour Road, except heading for the buildings on Harbour Road west of Fleming Road, will be diverted to southbound Fleming Road;

7. Traffic on westbound Harbour Road will be diverted to turn left onto Fenwick Street;

8. Other than heading for buildings on a section of Harbour Road between Fleming Road and Tonnochy Road, traffic from eastbound Harbour Road will be banned at its junction with Fleming Road;

9. Northbound traffic on Fleming Road will be diverted to U-turn at the junction with Convention Avenue to southbound Fleming Road;

10. All vehicles departing from the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel will be directed to southbound Fleming Road;

11. Traffic from Tonnochy Road Flyover will be diverted to westbound Harbour Road;

12. Traffic from westbound Hung Hing Road will be diverted to southbound Marsh Road; and

13. Northbound traffic on Marsh Road will be diverted to eastbound Hung Hing Road.

In addition to road closure and diversions, the following bus stops, taxi stands and parking spaces will also be suspended between 8 am to 11 am:

(A) Bus stops

1. Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase II, Expo Drive East;

2. Eastbound Convention Avenue;

3. Lung Wui Road; and

4. Eastbound and westbound Harbour Road.

(B) Public bus metered parking spaces

1. Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase II, Expo Drive East.

(C) Taxi stands

1. Outside Tamar Site, Tim Mei Avenue; and

2. Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase II, Expo Drive East.

(D) Metered carpark and motorcycle parking spaces

1. Lung King Street

(E) Carparks

1. Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase II Carpark on Expo Drive Central;

2. Convention Plaza Carpark on Convention Avenue;

3. Citic Tower Carpark on Tim Mei Avenue; and

4. Imperial Carpark at Tamar Site.
