Police today (June 16) charged a 20-year-old man with one count of handling stolen goods.

The man was arrested together with 18 other men and 10 women aged between 12 and 52 by officers attached to Mong Kok District on June 14. They were suspected to belong to a theft syndicate active in the district.

The 20-year-old man will appear in North Kowloon Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (June 17).

Meanwhile, a 41-year-old Vietnamese man was charged with possession of other's identity card and illegal immigration. He will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.

The remaining 27 persons have been released on bail ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. They have to report back to Police in two to three weeks' time.
