Winning entries of the Orchid Splendour Photo Competition of the 2003 Hong Kong Flower Show will be displayed in a roving exhibition in Kowloon Park in Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Park in Central starting on Tuesday (May 20).
The competition, jointly organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), is divided into three categories - Category A: Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong (Open Section and School Section); Category B: Flowers; and Category C: Snapshots.
Veteran photographers from the Photographic Society of Hong Kong and TVB judged the photos, which capture the best moments from the flower show.
The 2003 Hong Kong Flower Show, organised by the department, was held from March 7 to 16 at Victoria Park. The competition was one of the major fringe activities of the show.
Results of the competition are :
Category A: Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong (Open Section)

Second Prize: Chan Shek-fai
Third Prize: Yuen Wing-kwong
Highly Commended: Kwok Yam-keung, Ng Kam-chun, Cheng Mou-hung (two entries), Yiu Yuk-cheung, Chau Chi-shing, Chan Siu-tung, Cheung Yuen-kwan, Fung Chin-to, and Sham Wing-hung.
Category A: Portrait of TVB Artistes and Miss Hong Kong (School Section)

Third Prize: Leung Wing-kin, Ricky

The photo exhibition will be held from May 20 to June 19 at Kowloon Park Arcade and from June 20 to July 20 at Hong Kong Park Conservatory.
