Appeal for information on two bodies found in Castle Peak

Police today ( May 13) appeal for information on two men whose bodies were found in Castle Peak in late March and early April respectively.

Enquiries revealed that at 11.30 am on March 23, a man's body was found floating in the waters off Lung Kwu Tan, Castle Peak.

Standing 1.7 metres and weighing 59 kilograms, the man was aged about 15 to 30, with black hair, of thin build and was estimated to be an Asian.

He was only wearing a pair of blue underpants and holding a lifejacket in his right arm when found.

The other man was discovered at about 2.30 pm on April 9 on a hillside near Lung Fai Street, Lung Kwu Tan.

Standing about 1.68 metres with black hair, the man was found hanging on a tree by a red nylon string on the hillside. He was wearing a long-sleeved brown coat, blue jeans with a black belt, and a pair of blue plimsolls.

Investigations by Police so far revealed no suspicions surrounding their deaths. As no identity documents were found on the two deceased, Police urge their next-of-kin or those who know their identities to contact investigating officers of Castle Peak Division on 2404 3542 or 2404 3502.
