Police today (May 6) appeal to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a man who was reported missing last month (April).
Wong Yau, aged 89, failed to return to his home in Tai Fung Street in Yuen Long after going to a park in Yuen Long Pau Cheung Square on April 30. His family made a report to the Police on the same day.
Standing at about 1.53 metres, he has a sharp face, yellow complexion, short grey hair and of thin build. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve grey and white-checkered shirt, a pair of brown trousers and black shoes.
Initial enquiries revealed that the missing man has a habit of frequenting the park at Pau Cheung Square and the vicinity of Long Ping Estate in Yuen Long. He only speaks "Wai Tau dialect".
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the man is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit, New Territories North, at 2666 4499.
