****************************************************

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) now invites members of the public to join the new Customers Liaison Groups (CLGs) to be set up in 18 leisure venues starting September 14, 2002.

An LCSD spokesman revealed today (July 31), "The CLGs in the past two years were proved to have great success."

"Through meetings, participants were enthusiastic in voicing their valuable views and ideas on leisure services."

"Also, the Department has promptly followed up the suggestions made by members of the CLGs and considered such interactive communications have contributed remarkably to enhancing the quality and efficiency of the Department's leisure services," the spokesman added.

Members of the public who wish to join the new CLGs can obtain application forms from the 18 designated venues or the respective LCSD District Leisure Services Offices. The application form can also be downloaded from the Department's website at http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/forms/clg.html.
