Police Narcotic Bureau (NB) officers arrested a 33-year-old man and seized 4.2 kilograms suspected No.4 heroin in King Fung Path, Tuen Mun this afternoon.

The NB officers made the arrest today (March 6) at about 1.30 pm following a two months investigation into a suspected drug distribution syndicate.

The officers arrested the 33-year-old suspect when he was alighting a vehicle and entering the lift lobby of a residential building at King Fung Path this afternoon. A total of six rolls of suspected No.4 heroin packed in cylindrical shape were found in his possession.

The estimated market value of the drugs seized is worth about $1.82 million

A further search of a unit on the 21st floor of the building was conducted and some packaging equipment was found inside the unit.

It is believed that the suspect is one of the members of a drug trafficking syndicate.

He is still being detained by NB officer for further investigation.
