Police are investigating the death of a 51-year-old man whose body was found in Wong Tai Sin last (March 5) night.

Police received a call at about 6.15 pm that a body was found on a path near Block 23, Tung Tau Estate.

Officers sped to the scene for investigation found a man there.

The man was certified dead at the scene, injuries were found on his face and jaw.

A post-mortem will be conducted later today (March 6) to ascertain the cause of his death.

Enquiries by Regional Crime Unit, Kowloon East, are proceeding.
