The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) announced today (January 23) that confirmation was received from the Consulate General of France that visa-free access has been granted to HKSAR passport holders for visits up to three months to Monaco by virtue of the Convention on Good Neighbourhood between Monaco and France.

"We warmly welcome this confirmation by the Consulate General of France," a government spokesman said.

The availability of visa-free access to Monaco has brought to 106 the total number of countries/territories granting visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders.

Currently, nationals of Monaco can visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay up to three months.
