The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) has recently launched a new Museum Weekly Pass which offers museum goers another admission option when they visit the LCSD museums.

The new Museum Weekly Pass, which is priced at HK$30, allows holders unlimited access to LCSD's major museums, including Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Science Museum, Hong Kong Space Museum (excluding the Space Theatre), Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence and Hong Kong Heritage Museum. It is now available at LCSD's box offices of major museums.

Apart from the new Museum Weekly Pass, LCSD also offers a Full-year and an Half-year Museum Passes which also allow holders unlimited access to its major museums except Space Theatre of Hong Kong Space Museums and some special exhibitions of Hong Kong Science Museum.

The Full-year and Half-year Museum Pass holders are also entitled to cash discounts for the purchase of selected items at the museum gift shops, and a 10 per cent discount for courses and educational activities organised by the museums.

The LCSD's museums, apart from displaying their valuable collections and specially designed exhibits, also organise different thematic exhibitions on regular basis.

Interested parties can apply for a Full-year Family Museum Pass at a package cost of HK$200. This Pass is available for family groups of a maximum of four persons with kinship. Individual Full-year and Half-year Museum Pass are also available at HK$100 and HK$50 respectively. Half-price concessions for Full-year and Half-year Individual Museum Pass is applicable for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above and people with disabilities.
