A new Ho Man Tin Post Office located at G/F, Ming Fai House, Kwun Fai Court, Ho Man Tin will be opened at 9.30 am on Monday (November 13) to replace the existing post office at Shops 101-104, Block 7, Ho Man Tin Estate, which will be closed after business on Saturday (November 11).

The Postmaster General, Mr P C Luk said, "It is our continuous effort to maintain convenient and accessible services to customers. Since the old post office has to be vacated before mid-November for the redevelopment of Ho Man Tin Estate and the new permanent post office in the estate will not be completed until early 2001, we have arranged to set up a small post office at Ming Fai House as an interim measure to meet the need of local residents for postal services."

The new Ho Man Tin Post Office will operate from 9.30 am to 5 pm on weekdays, and from 9.30 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.

No souvenir cover will be issued for the opening of the new office.
