To cater for the traffic demand associated with developments along Sai Sha Road, the Highways Department has proposed to widen a section of Sai Sha Road from its junctions with Kam Ying Road and the future Trunk Road T7 to dual two-lane configuration with modification of two existing adjoining junctions with Kam Ying Road and Sha On Street.

A notice on the proposed works was gazetted today (October 20).

Members of the public may inspect the plan and scheme of the proposed works at the public enquiry services centres of the Central and Western District Office and Sha Tin District Office, as well as the District Lands Office, Sha Tin.

Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write o the Secretary for Transport before December 19 this year.
