Appeal for information on dead body in Tsim Sha Tsui

Police today (October 15) appeal to members of the public to provide information on the identity of a man whose body was found in Tsim Sha Tsui in August this year.

At about 9.50 am on August 10, a man was found drifting off the Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui.

A report was then made and the man was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead on the same day.

No identity documents could be found on him.

The man was aged about 60 and 1.65 metres tall. He had short grey hair and was of thin build. The deceased was seen wearing a blue shirt, grey trousers and a pair of brown slippers.

No suspicious elements were detected so far.
