Medal for Bravery (Silver)
Mr. LEE Chi-wah
Mr. LEE is awarded the MBS in recognition of his bravery in helping a woman attacked by an assailant. On 13 January 1999, despite extreme danger to himself, he bare-handedly tried to stop an armed man from stabbing a woman with a long knife. In helping someone unknown to himself, Mr. Lee has shown exemplary courage.

Medal for Bravery (Bronze)
Mr. WONG Chi-fai
Mr. WONG is awarded the MBB in recognition of his bravery in helping others. On 9 February 2000, without any equipment, Mr. WONG jumped into the cold and rough seas to save a drowning person who was well-built. Conscious of the danger to his own life, Mr. WONG has shown exemplary courage in the incident.
Captain Barry Kevin COLLIER
Captain COLLIER is awarded the MBB for his bravery in the rescue operation for two missing wind surfers in rough seas on 16.9.99 when typhoon signal no. 10 was hoisted. He demonstrated exemplary courage in the operation despite considerable danger to himself.
Mr. CHAN Man-tik
Mr. CHAN is awarded the MBB in recognition of his bravery in a rescue operation for five persons in a sinking vessel under severe weather conditions on 16.9.99 when typhoon signal no. 10 was hoisted. He demonstrated exemplary courage in the operation despite considerable danger to himself.
