Following is the transcript of the media session given by the Acting Chief Executive, Mrs Anson Chan, after attending the Legislative Council meeting this (Wednesday) afternoon:-

Mrs Chan: We have, of course, just received the Public Accounts Committee's report. We will be, as usual, seriously considering the contents of the Report. And, in accordance with our established practice, we will have an official response by way of a Government minute within three months of this report. It is, as you know, our wish and our past practice to co-operate fully with the Public Accounts Committee and we will definitely consider any proposals from the Public Accounts Committee in terms of improving the efficiency and working procedures of the Administration. But as I've said, we need time to consider the report and we will make a considered response as soon as possible.
