The Territory Development Department plans to construct new road networks to facilaite the proposed Cyberport development at Telegraph Bay.

The works will include the construction of two access roads, one from Victoria Road in the south and the other from Sha Wan Drive in the north to the proposed development.

A Road D1 will also be constructed to link the two access roads. Another Road D2 will be constructed to connect to the Future Telegraph Bay interchange of Route 7.

A Road L1 together with a public transport interchange in the northern Cyberport will also be built.

Two pedestrian/cycle bridges crossing Road D2 will also be built.

Ancillary works on drainage, slope maintenance, landscaping and erection of noise barriers will be carried out.

A plan and scheme for the proposed works are available for the public inspection at the following places -

Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 noon

Any objections to the works or the use should be sent in writing to the Secretary for Transport, 16th Floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong before June 29, 1999.
